About Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport
Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport is an international airport serving Gatineau, Quebec, and the surrounding National Capital Region. Opened in the late 1970s, it functions as a regional and business aviation gateway alongside the larger Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport across the river.
Located in Gatineau, roughly a 20-minute drive from downtown Gatineau and central Ottawa, the airport has a single 6,000-foot asphalt runway oriented east-west and a compact terminal and FBO complex. It supports charter flights, corporate aircraft, medevac operations, flight training schools and the Vintage Wings of Canada aviation museum.
The airport offers Canada Customs clearance for eligible aircraft with 15 seats or fewer, along with a restaurant, car rental counter, free parking, electric vehicle charging, wireless internet, and taxi and limousine services.
With quick road access to Gatineau, Ottawa, the Outaouais region and Highway 50 toward Mirabel and Montreal, the airport provides a convenient entry point for business and private aviation travellers visiting Canada's capital area.
