Ormoc Airport (OMC) is the main air gateway to Ormoc City and the western side of Leyte in the Eastern Visayas. It handles domestic flights and serves both residents and visitors travelling to this part of the region. The airport's passenger terminal was rebuilt and expanded after damage from Super Typhoon Yolanda in 2013, reopening in a larger, modernized form in 2019. The terminal now provides a more comfortable experience, while the airport's single runway supports turboprop operations. Located in Barangay Airport, roughly 7 km from central Ormoc City, the airport is reached by tricycle, taxi, private transfer or car. From the city, travelers can continue to destinations such as Lake Danao National Park and the ferry port for Cebu, while Tacloban lies further east.
