Orange County Airport is a public general aviation airport serving Montgomery and Orange County in New York's Hudson Valley. Activated in 1943 and owned by Orange County, it functions as a reliever and general aviation gateway to the greater New York region rather than a scheduled commercial hub.
The airport sits about one mile southwest of the village of Montgomery at the junction of State Routes 211 and 416, roughly 50 miles north of New York City. It has two asphalt runways, 4/22 and 8/26, and a single passenger terminal supporting private, charter, and flight-training operations.
Originally established during World War II as an auxiliary airfield for nearby Stewart, the airport was transferred to Orange County after the war and remains a busy general aviation facility. Its FBO provides fuel, maintenance, hangars, and pilot services throughout the year.
