Ontario Municipal Airport is a publicly owned general aviation airport serving Ontario, Oregon, and the surrounding Treasure Valley near the Idaho border. Opened in 1947 and owned by the City of Ontario, the airport supports private, business and specialty aviation in eastern Oregon.
Located about 3 miles (5 km) west of central Ontario, the airport sits close to the Snake River and southwestern Idaho. Its single asphalt runway, 15/33, is 5,006 feet long and accommodates general aviation aircraft, flight training, air ambulance, agricultural and glider operations rather than scheduled commercial airline service.
The airport has a fixed-base operator, aviation fuel, aircraft maintenance, tiedown parking and a pilot lounge, making it a practical base for private pilots and regional operators. Rental cars and courtesy vehicles can be arranged for onward travel.
