About Omar N. Bradley Regional Airport
Omar N. Bradley Regional Airport is a publicly owned general aviation airport serving Moberly and Randolph County in north-central Missouri. The airport sits about 3 miles north of downtown Moberly and provides an important gateway for private pilots, business aviation, emergency services and special events in the region.
The site traces its aviation history to 1927, when Moberly's first airport was established, and it became the Moberly Municipal Airport in 1938. In 1943 the city renamed it in honor of General Omar Nelson Bradley, a native of nearby Clark who grew up in Randolph County. The airport was rededicated in April 1964, when Ozark Air Lines began the area's first commercial passenger and mail service, which continued until 1986.
Today the airport covers about 285 acres and operates two concrete runways, 5,000 feet and 3,350 feet long, supporting general aviation activity. The facility includes an FBO, aviation fuel, hangars and tiedowns, with no control tower in operation.
Ground access is primarily by road, with the airport located near US Highway 63 north of Moberly. Travelers can continue to the city by private transfer, taxi, chauffeur service or rental car, and nearby regional destinations include Columbia, Macon and Hannibal.
