Scheduled and charter light aircraft connect the airstrip with Nairobi Wilson Airport, with a typical flying time of around 40 to 45 minutes. By road, the journey from Nairobi covers roughly 230 kilometres and usually takes about four and a half to five hours, depending on conditions.
