Ohio State University Airport – Don Scott Field is a public general aviation airport serving Columbus and central Ohio. First used as a military pilot training field in 1942 and named Don Scott Field in 1943, it has grown into one of the region's leading general aviation and executive aviation facilities.
The airport is owned and operated by The Ohio State University and functions as a general aviation reliever for John Glenn Columbus International Airport. Its single terminal building, the Austin E. Knowlton Executive Terminal and Aviation Learning Center, opened in 2018 and houses the fixed-base operator, flight education classrooms, simulators and passenger amenities.
Located about 10 km northwest of downtown Columbus between the suburbs of Dublin and Worthington, the airport has its main entrance on Case Road and is easily reached from State Route 315 and Interstate 270. It sits roughly seven miles from the Ohio State campus.
With free parking, private and executive aviation services, and a full-service FBO, the airport provides a convenient gateway for business aviation, flight training and private travel to the Columbus area.
