About Ocean Reef Club Airport
Ocean Reef Club Airport is a private-use airport serving the Ocean Reef Club community on the northern tip of Key Largo in the Florida Keys. Activated in 1956, the airport functions as an exclusive gateway for club members and their guests, offering direct air access to one of South Florida's best-known private resort communities.
The airport operates a single asphalt runway, designated 5/23, measuring approximately 4,450 feet in length. Because the facility is private, scheduled airlines do not serve it; operations are limited to general aviation and private aircraft with prior permission, and there is no TSA screening.
Located about one mile northeast of Key Largo's central business district in Monroe County, Florida, the airport sits within the Ocean Reef Club's tropical grounds. Travelers can reach Miami by road in roughly an hour, with the Florida Keys and destinations such as Islamorada accessible along the Overseas Highway.
The compact executive terminal provides passenger lounges, a café, and pilot amenities, supported by Jet-A fuel, aircraft tie-downs, and ground transportation links to the club and nearby areas. For private travelers, it offers a convenient and discreet arrival point in the Upper Keys.
