Nunchia Airport (NUH)

Nunchia Airport is a small regional airfield serving the town of Nunchía in Colombia's Casanare department. It mainly handles light aircraft, charter flights and occasional regional traffic rather than large scheduled commercial services.

The airfield sits close to the centre of Nunchía, roughly 1.5 km from the town, at an elevation of about 564 metres above sea level. It provides a convenient entry point for the municipality and surrounding rural communities in the eastern plains region.

For scheduled commercial flights and a wider range of services, travelers generally use El Alcaraván Airport (EYP) in Yopal, the departmental capital, which lies about 50 km away. From Nunchia Airport, onward travel to Nunchía, Yopal and other Casanare destinations is typically arranged by taxi, private transfer or rental car.

Because it is a small airfield, passenger facilities are basic, with a single compact handling area and limited amenities. Planning onward transport in advance is recommended, especially for visitors continuing to rural properties or more distant towns in the region.
