Norwood Memorial Airport is a public-use general aviation airport serving Norwood, Massachusetts, and the Greater Boston region. It acts as a reliever airport for Boston Logan International Airport and is among the closest general aviation airfields to the city, supporting private, corporate, charter and flight-training activity.
The airfield dates to the early 1940s and served during World War II as a Naval Outlying Landing Field. Today it is owned by the Town of Norwood and features two asphalt runways, Runway 17/35 and Runway 10/28, each approximately 4,000 feet long.
Located about 22 miles southwest of downtown Boston, the airport is convenient to the Route 128 corridor and reachable via I-95 and I-93. Scheduled Cape Air service connects Norwood with Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, while most activity consists of general aviation, corporate and charter flights.
