Norman Manley International Airport is the main international airport serving Kingston, Jamaica's capital, and is one of the country's key gateways for business and leisure travel. It opened in 1948 as Palisadoes Airport and was later renamed in honour of Norman Manley, a Jamaican National Hero and statesman.
