Noatak Airport is a state-owned public-use airport serving Noatak, a small Iñupiat community on the west bank of the Noatak River in Alaska's Northwest Arctic Borough. Activated in 1959, the airport provides the community's main year-round connection, since Noatak has no road link to the wider regional road system.
The airport has a single gravel runway, Runway 1/19, measuring about 3,992 by 60 feet (1,217 by 18 metres), with medium-intensity edge lighting. It primarily supports small aircraft such as the Cessna 208B and Piper Navajo used on regional commuter and charter flights.
Scheduled passenger service is operated mainly by regional carriers connecting Noatak with the hub at Kotzebue and other nearby villages such as Kivalina. The airport has no control tower and is unattended, with pilots coordinating through the Kotzebue Flight Service Station.
Located about one mile (1.9 km) southwest of the village centre, the airport is reached by local road or arranged ground transport.
