The facility opened at its current location in 2006 after being relocated about one mile west of the village. It operates a single gravel runway designated 14/32, measuring approximately 3,281 by 75 feet, along with basic aircraft parking and a compact waiting area. The airport has no control tower and is generally unattended.
Scheduled regional flights, including services operated by Grant Aviation, connect New Stuyahok with Dillingham, the regional hub about 49 miles to the southwest, where travelers can continue to Anchorage and other destinations.
