About Nervino Airport
Nervino Airport is a public-use general aviation airport located one mile east of Beckwourth in Plumas County, California. Activated in 1940, the airport serves eastern Plumas County and the surrounding Sierra Nevada region, supporting private, recreational and business aviation rather than scheduled airline service.
The airport operates a single asphalt runway, 8/26, measuring 4,651 feet, at an elevation of about 4,900 feet. Facilities are compact and geared to general aviation, with fuel, tie-downs, aircraft services and a fixed-base operator providing pilot support.
Located along State Route 70, Nervino Airport is about six miles east of Portola, the county's only incorporated city, and within reach of communities such as Graeagle, Clio and the Lake Davis recreation area. Reno/Tahoe International Airport, the nearest scheduled-service hub, lies to the southeast across the Nevada border.
For pilots and passengers, the airport offers a convenient, uncrowded entry point to the Lakes Basin and surrounding outdoor destinations, with ground transportation arranged locally by car, private transfer or pre-arranged service.
