About Naples Municipal Airport
Naples Municipal Airport is the main general aviation airport serving Naples and Collier County on Florida's southwest Gulf Coast. The airport began operating in 1943 as a military airfield and is managed today by the City of Naples Airport Authority, an independent government agency established in 1969.
Located roughly two miles northeast of downtown Naples, the airport is a convenient gateway for private and business aviation. It handles more than 100,000 general aviation takeoffs and landings each year and is served by two runways, fixed-base operators and U.S. Customs clearance for international arrivals.
The airport sits minutes from Interstate 75, downtown's Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South, and the Gulf beaches. Travelers continue their journey by rental car, taxi, rideshare, private transfer or chauffeured vehicle.
