About Muskogee-Davis Regional Airport

Muskogee-Davis Regional Airport is a city-owned regional business and general aviation airport serving Muskogee and eastern Oklahoma. The airfield was built in 1941–42 as a World War II military installation, then known as Muskogee Army Airfield, and was later renamed in honor of Muskogee native Jack Davis, who was killed in action in the South Pacific during the war. Located along U.S. Highway 64 about six miles south of downtown Muskogee, the airport operates three asphalt runways, with the main runway measuring 7,202 feet and capable of accommodating light through heavy transport jet aircraft. A roughly 5,000-square-foot terminal building supports general aviation and business passengers, with services provided by the on-site fixed-base operator, Davis Field Aviation. While the airport has no scheduled commercial airline service, it serves private aircraft, corporate flights, flight training and air cargo activity in the region. Ground transportation is available by arrangement, including courtesy cars, taxis and pre-arranged transfers, and the airport is conveniently positioned near the Muskogee Turnpike for road connections to Tulsa and other parts of Green Country. The airport offers fuel, hangar space, aircraft parking, maintenance and avionics services, a pilot lounge, passenger lounge and free Wi-Fi. Its location and general aviation facilities make it a practical gateway for pilots and business travelers visiting Muskogee, nearby lakes and the wider eastern Oklahoma region.
