Muscatine Municipal Airport is a city-owned, public-use general aviation airport serving Muscatine, Iowa, and Muscatine County. Opened in 1947, the airport supports private, business, corporate and flight training activity rather than scheduled commercial passenger service.
Located about 5 miles (8 km) southwest of downtown Muscatine along the Mississippi River, the airport is classified as a general aviation facility in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems. It has two paved runways: a 5,500-foot main runway and a 4,000-foot crosswind runway, supporting a mix of single-engine and business aircraft operations.
The terminal/FBO building offers passenger and pilot amenities including a lobby with Wi-Fi, pilot's lounge, snooze room, showers, weather room, conference space and courtesy cars. Aviation fuel, aircraft parking, hangars and after-hours service are available for arriving and departing aircraft.
