Montgomery County Airpark is a general aviation airport located about three miles northeast of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and roughly 20 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. Opened in 1960, it serves private pilots, business aviation and flight training as part of Montgomery County and the broader Washington metropolitan area.
The airport covers about 125 acres and operates a single asphalt runway, Runway 14/32, which is approximately 4,202 feet long. A terminal building was added in 1964, and the airpark now supports fixed-base operator services, hangars, fueling, flight schools, and passenger and pilot lounge facilities for general aviation users.
