Moenjo Daro Airport is a domestic airport serving Mohenjo-daro and the wider Larkana District in Pakistan's Sindh province. It is best known as the closest air gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site of Mohenjo-daro, one of the major cities of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization.
The airport was constructed in 1967 and later upgraded in 1973, with its runway and terminal buildings extended in 1996. Operated under the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, it has a single asphalt runway and one compact passenger terminal handling regional domestic services, primarily flights operated by Pakistan International Airlines to hubs such as Karachi and Islamabad.
Located about 28 km from the city of Larkana, the airport is reached mainly by taxi, auto-rickshaw or pre-arranged road transport. Travel times between the airport and Larkana are generally around 30 to 40 minutes, while the archaeological site and its museum lie just a short distance away.
Although terminal facilities are modest, with basic waiting areas and limited refreshment options, the airport provides an important connection for visitors exploring Sindh's archaeological heritage and for local residents travelling within the province.
