Mo i Rana Airport, Røssvoll is the regional airport serving Mo i Rana and the wider Helgeland district in Nordland, Norway. Opened on 1 July 1968 as part of the country's short-runway network in northern Norway, the airport is owned and operated by Avinor and mainly handles domestic flights.
The airport is located at Røssvoll, about 14 km northeast of Mo i Rana town centre. It has a single compact passenger terminal and one short asphalt runway of 799 m, reflecting its role as a short take-off and landing airport.
Ground connections include taxis, rental cars and local buses, with the E12 road linking the airport to the town. The drive into the centre usually takes around 15 minutes under normal road conditions.
A new airport at Fagerlia is planned to replace Røssvoll in the future. Until then, Mo i Rana Airport continues to serve as a small, practical gateway for residents and visitors travelling to this part of northern Norway.
