Sandefjord Airport, Torp opened in 1956 as a military air station and began civil operations in 1958. Today it serves as a secondary gateway to the Oslo region and the main airport for Vestfold, handling domestic flights to western Norway as well as international low-cost, scheduled and charter services.
Located about 7 km from Sandefjord city centre and roughly 110 km southwest of Oslo, the airport operates a single passenger terminal with separate domestic and international areas. The airport is connected by road via the E18 and is served by shuttle buses linking the terminal with nearby Torp railway station, where trains on the Vestfold line provide onward connections.
