About Mission Field Airport
Mission Field Airport is the main public-use general aviation airport serving Livingston and Park County in south-central Montana. Activated in March 1943, it supports private, charter and corporate aircraft traveling to the Paradise Valley and the northern Yellowstone region.
Located about 5 miles east of Livingston and close to Interstate 90, the airport has a 5,701-foot asphalt runway supplemented by two turf runways. It handles general aviation operations, flight training, agricultural flying and air ambulance services, and does not operate large scheduled-airline passenger facilities.
Yellowstone Air Service serves as the fixed-base operator, providing fuel, aircraft parking, charter services, rental car assistance and a public terminal with pilot and passenger amenities.
