Minute Man Air Field is a public-use, privately owned airport in Stow, Massachusetts, serving general aviation traffic in the I-495 corridor west of Boston. The airfield began as a grass strip known as Erikson Field in 1963 and was reopened as Minute Man Air Field in 1969 after the runway was paved and extended.
Located about 31 miles (50 km) from central Boston and two miles north of Stow town centre, the airport provides a base for private aircraft, flight training, maintenance, and charter operations rather than scheduled airline service. It operates a 3,100-foot paved, lighted instrument runway and a 1,600-foot turf runway.
Pilots and passengers use the on-site fixed-base operator and airport businesses for fuel, aircraft parking, hangars, and flight support. The airfield is close to Interstate 495, making road access to Boston, Worcester, and nearby MetroWest communities practical.
