Millington-Memphis Airport (NQA)

Millington-Memphis Airport is a public airport serving the city of Millington and the greater Memphis area in Shelby County, Tennessee. It primarily handles general aviation, corporate and military traffic rather than scheduled airline service, providing a convenient alternative gateway for private and business aircraft visiting the region.

The airfield has a long military history, having been associated with Naval Air Station Memphis before being transferred to the city of Millington and activated as a public airport in December 1974. Today it remains adjacent to Naval Support Activity Mid-South and continues to support visiting military aircraft.

Located about 15 miles north of downtown Memphis, the airport is reached via Highway 51, Interstate 40 and other local road connections. Its 8,000-foot runway and staffed control tower allow the airport to accommodate a wide range of aircraft, from private planes to corporate jets and cargo carriers.
