Miller Field is the public-use general aviation airport serving Valentine, Nebraska, and northern Cherry County. Opened in 1949 and owned by the City of Valentine, it supports private, business, agricultural and recreational flying across the Sandhills region.
Located about one mile (roughly 2 km) south of downtown Valentine, the airport has two paved concrete runways, a general aviation terminal building and the Sandhills Aero fixed-base operator. It is an uncontrolled field with no scheduled commercial airline service, serving primarily private aircraft and charter flights.
Valentine is a gateway to the Niobrara National Scenic River, Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge, Smith Falls State Park and the Nebraska Sandhills.
