Miles City Airport – Frank Wiley Field is a city-owned public airport serving Miles City and Custer County in eastern Montana. Located about two miles northwest of downtown, it provides general aviation services and scheduled Essential Air Service flights through Cape Air to Billings Logan International Airport.
The airport occupies roughly 1,640 acres and has two asphalt runways: runway 4/22 at 5,680 feet and runway 13/31 at 5,628 feet. The City of Miles City purchased the land in 1948, and the field was named after Frank Wiley, a Miles City pilot born in 1900; commercial air service to the area dates back to Mamer Air Transport in 1930.
Passenger services operate from a single terminal building on the northeast side of the apron, with a lounge, restrooms, parking and fuel services. The airport also supports air cargo, medical evacuation and firefighting operations as a base for regional aviation activity.
