Maré Airport, also known as La Roche Airport, is the main air gateway to Maré, the southernmost of the Loyalty Islands in New Caledonia. Located at La Roche in the commune of Maré, it handles domestic flights linking the island with the rest of the territory.
The airport has a single asphalt runway and a compact one-storey passenger terminal. Most scheduled services are operated by Air Calédonie using ATR turboprop aircraft, connecting Maré with Nouméa Magenta and onward domestic routes.
Situated roughly 15–18 km from Tadine, the island's main town and port, the airport is reached by taxis, hotel shuttles and pre-arranged transfers. The journey to Tadine normally takes around 25–30 minutes by road.
Despite its small size, the terminal provides waiting areas, flight information, a small refreshment and retail area, and an Air Calédonie sales and information desk, making it a practical entry point for visitors exploring Maré's beaches, caves and villages.
