About Mammoth Yosemite Airport
Mammoth Yosemite Airport serves Mammoth Lakes and the wider Eastern Sierra region, including Mammoth Mountain and the eastern side of Yosemite National Park. The airport has occupied its current site since the early 1940s, and the Town of Mammoth Lakes has owned and operated it since 1992.
The airport is located just south of Mammoth Lakes along US Highway 395. It handles seasonal scheduled charter flights, general aviation, air ambulance operations and firefighting aircraft. Advanced Air currently provides seasonal service between MMH and Hawthorne and Carlsbad in Southern California.
Ground transportation from the airport includes taxis, shuttles, private transfers and rental cars. There is no regular public transit service to the terminal, so travelers are encouraged to arrange onward transport in advance.
With a single compact terminal and limited passenger traffic, MMH offers a simple arrival and departure experience, free Wi-Fi and convenient access to the town, ski areas, lakes and mountain destinations of the Eastern Sierra.
