Malad City Airport is a small public-use general aviation airport serving Malad City and Oneida County in southeastern Idaho. Located about three miles southwest of the city centre, it primarily supports private, recreational and agricultural flying as well as transient aircraft passing through the region.
The airport has been in operation since March 1945 and is publicly owned by Oneida County. It features a paved runway, Runway 17/35, along with a turf/dirt crosswind runway, Runway 8/26, and is used mainly for visual flight operations, with no published instrument procedures at the field.
Situated near the Idaho–Utah border and the Cache Valley area, the airport gives pilots convenient access to Malad City and surrounding communities. Nearby towns such as Logan, Utah, and Pocatello, Idaho, are within reasonable driving distance, while Interstate 15 passes close to the area.
Facilities are modest and focused on general aviation, with 100LL fuel, tiedown parking and a lighted runway. Passenger services such as restaurants, shops and lounges are not offered on site, so most ground services are found in Malad City.
