Long Seridan Airport is a small STOLport serving Long Seridan, a Kelabit village in the upper Baram region of Sarawak, Malaysia. The short-take-off-and-landing runway was built by Gurkha engineers in 1963 and remains one of the few reliable links between this remote interior area and the rest of Sarawak.
The airport is part of Sarawak's Rural Air Services network, operated by MASwings using Twin Otter aircraft. Scheduled flights connect Long Seridan with Miri, Marudi and Bario, making the airport an important lifeline for local communities, medical travel, supplies and visitors to the highlands.
Long Seridan lies deep in the Baram interior, roughly 125 km by air from Miri and about 260 km by road along remote routes that can take around five hours. Because road access is slow and conditions vary, the short flight to Miri is the most practical connection for many residents and travellers.
