Long Akah Airport is a small STOL airfield serving the remote Long Akah area in the Baram River region of Sarawak, Malaysia. Classified as a public STOLport and operated by Malaysia Airports, it links isolated Kayan, Kenyah and other rural communities with the outside world.
The site has a long local history: during World War II it was used as a landing area for Allied soldiers, including Australian and British troops. The airstrip was later upgraded and became a public airport in 1998.
Located roughly 1.5 km from the Long Akah village settlement, the airfield has a single 680 m runway and a basic terminal shelter. There are no taxis, buses or car hire at the airport; many travelers walk to the nearby settlement or continue by river boat, with Long San about ten minutes away by boat.
