Opened in 2016, the modern terminal replaced older facilities and gave the airport capacity for up to 2 million passengers per year. The single terminal handles domestic, regional and international flights, with ASKY Airlines using the airport as its home hub in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines.
Located approximately 6 km northeast of central Lomé, the airport is connected to the city by road, with taxis, private transfers and car rentals available for the short journey to hotels and the city centre.
