About Las Brujas Airport
Las Brujas Airport is a domestic airport serving the city of Corozal and nearby Sincelejo, the capital of Sucre Department in northern Colombia. It functions as the main air gateway for the Sucre region, connecting local travelers with Bogotá, Medellín, and other domestic destinations.
The airport dates back to 1939, when the first aircraft landed after construction promoted by SCADTA and local figures from 1938. Since 2008 it has been operated by the AirPlan concession, and its infrastructure has been improved over the years, including an extension of the runway to about 1,820 metres.
Located immediately north of central Corozal, the airport is around 12–16 km from Sincelejo and is normally reached by taxi or private road transport in roughly 15–20 minutes. Its compact single terminal handles check-in, security, arrivals, and basic passenger services in one building.
Despite its small size, Las Brujas Airport remains an important regional connection point, offering essential domestic flights and straightforward onward travel to Corozal, Sincelejo, and other towns across Sucre.
