Kirk Field Airport (PGR)

Kirk Field is a city-owned public-use general aviation airport serving Paragould and the surrounding Greene County area in northeast Arkansas. Established in July 1958, the airport covers about 220 acres and supports private, corporate, charter and agricultural aviation rather than scheduled airline service.

The airport has two runways: a 4,500-foot paved primary runway with a partial parallel taxiway and a 2,500-foot turf crosswind runway. A single small terminal provides a waiting area, pilot lounge and office space for flight planning and ground handling coordination.

Located about one mile northwest of the Paragould city center, Kirk Field is reached via Airport Road and connects quickly to local highways. This makes it a practical arrival point for pilots and charter passengers continuing to Paragould, Jonesboro roughly 22 miles away, and other communities across the Crowley's Ridge region.

Facilities include self-service 100LL and Jet A fuel, free uncovered tie-downs and Wi-Fi. Because the airport does not operate commercial terminals, travelers typically arrange ground transportation in advance, with private transfers, rental cars and local driving providing the main connections into town and the wider region.
