King Mswati III International Airport is the main international airport serving Eswatini. Opened in 2014, it replaced Matsapha Airport as the country's primary commercial gateway and now handles regional flights to Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Harare.
Located near Sikhuphe in the eastern Lubombo Region, the airport lies approximately 37 km northeast of Manzini and around 88 km east of the capital, Mbabane. It was inaugurated on 7 March 2014 and began scheduled commercial operations on 30 September 2014.
The airport operates through a single passenger terminal and a 3,600-metre runway capable of accommodating wide-body aircraft. Its compact layout brings arrivals, departures, baggage handling, customs and passenger services together in one building.
