The airport lies about 5 km from central Khuzdar and has a single passenger terminal together with one paved runway of roughly 1,829 metres. Scheduled commercial services ended in 2002, and the airport currently operates without regular passenger flights.
Ground access to the city centre is short by road, but transport is usually arranged in advance because there are no standing taxi ranks or public bus services at the terminal. For longer journeys, Khuzdar is linked to Karachi and Quetta by the RCD Highway.
