Khartoum International Airport (KRT)

Khartoum International Airport is the main international airport serving Khartoum and the wider Sudan. Located close to the city centre, it handles domestic, regional and international flights and functions as a key gateway for travelers arriving in the country.

The airport's current international departure terminal opened in 1992, and the complex has since developed into separate domestic and international terminal areas with dedicated facilities for arrivals and departures.

Situated only a short distance southeast of central Khartoum, the airport is easy to reach by taxi and road, with onward connections to Khartoum, Omdurman, Bahri and other parts of the capital region.

Passenger facilities include shops, duty-free outlets, cafés, lounges and basic services across the terminal areas, supporting both leisure and business travelers passing through Sudan's capital.
