About Key West International Airport
Key West International Airport is the main airport serving Key West, the city at the southern tip of the Florida Keys. Aviation activity in Key West dates back to 1913, and the airport took its present name in the 1950s as it grew into the region's primary air gateway.
The airport operates a single passenger terminal complex. A new Concourse A opened in April 2025 with eight air-conditioned glass jet bridges, the first of their kind in the Florida Keys, while the original terminal continues to handle ticketing, check-in and arrivals.
Located about 2 miles east of downtown Key West, the airport is connected to Old Town, Duval Street, hotels and nearby Keys communities by taxi, ride-hailing services, shuttles, private transfers and rental cars.
