Keekorok Airport (KEU)

Keekorok Airport is a small civilian airport and safari airstrip in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Narok County, southwestern Kenya. Located close to the settlement of Keekorok and near the border with Tanzania, it primarily supports fly-in safari travel to the lodges and camps of the southeastern Mara.

The airport has a single unpaved murram runway and minimal terminal infrastructure designed for light aircraft. Scheduled and charter operators such as SafariLink, AirKenya and Mombasa Air Safari connect Keekorok with Nairobi Wilson and other destinations, making it one of the practical air gateways for visitors heading to the reserve.

Keekorok lies about two kilometres from the airstrip, and Keekorok Lodge is only a short transfer away, while other camps in the Sekenani and Mara areas are reached by safari vehicles. Road access connects the area through Narok, although most travellers arrive by air to avoid a much longer drive.

Because facilities at the strip itself are limited, passengers usually transfer quickly to their lodge after landing. The airstrip's position within the reserve makes it a convenient starting point for game drives and wildlife safaris across the Masai Mara.
