About Kasiguncu Airport
Kasiguncu Airport is a domestic airport serving Poso, the capital of Poso Regency in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Inaugurated in 1974, it has long functioned as an important air link for the city and nearby regencies such as Tojo Una-Una, Morowali and Morowali Utara.
The airport is located in the Kasiguncu area along the Trans Sulawesi road, about 13 km from Poso city centre. It operates through a single passenger terminal and has a 1,850-metre asphalt runway that was widened and extended between 2015 and 2016.
Kasiguncu Airport handles domestic scheduled flights, including connections to Makassar, as well as pioneer services serving more remote parts of Central Sulawesi. Onward travel from the airport is available by taxi, private transfer and local road transport.
