Kangirsuk Airport is a small certified airfield serving Kangirsuk, an Inuit village in northern Nunavik on the Ungava Bay coast of Quebec. For a community with limited road links and seasonal marine access, the airport is a year-round connection for passengers, freight and essential services.
The airport has one gravel runway, 03/21, and a compact single-story terminal. It is owned by Quebec's transport ministry and has been operated by the Kativik Regional Government since 1996, with scheduled passenger service provided by Air Inuit to Kuujjuaq and other Nunavik communities.
Located about one kilometer east of the village, the airport is easy to reach on foot and is also accessed by snowmobile in winter, ATV in summer or hotel pick-up. There is no public transit, so most travelers keep their airport transfer simple and short.
