John A. Osborne Airport (MNI)

John A. Osborne Airport is the main airport serving Montserrat and the island's primary link for regional air travel. Opened in 2005, it replaced the former W. H. Bramble Airport, which was destroyed by volcanic activity from the Soufrière Hills volcano in 1997. The airport was named after John Osborne, a former Chief Minister of Montserrat.

Located at Gerald's in northern Montserrat, the airport is only a short drive from Brades, the island's administrative centre, and close to the Little Bay area. Its single passenger terminal and relatively short runway are designed for small regional aircraft, with scheduled services providing regular connections to Antigua and onward international travel.

Taxis, private transfers and rental cars link the airport to communities such as Brades, Little Bay, Salem and St Peter's. The nearby Little Bay area also offers onward sea connections, while the airport itself provides a convenient arrival point for visitors and returning residents.

Despite its compact size, John A. Osborne Airport provides essential passenger facilities, including a restaurant, waiting area, souvenir and gift shop, and immigration and customs services, making it a practical gateway for travel to and from Montserrat.
