About Jamestown Regional Airport
Jamestown Regional Airport is the commercial air gateway to Jamestown, North Dakota, and the surrounding Stutsman County region. It connects the community to the national air network through scheduled United Express service to Denver and also supports general aviation activity.
The airfield was originally built by the federal government as a military installation in 1942 and later operated as a municipal airport. In 2001 the airfield was renamed Admiral Don Weiss Field, and a modern passenger terminal opened in December 2011.
Located about 2 miles (3 km) northeast of downtown Jamestown, the airport is a short drive from the city centre by car, taxi or rental car. It has two asphalt runways and a single passenger terminal, keeping the travel experience compact and easy to navigate.
As a Part 139 commercial service airport, Jamestown Regional also serves general aviation, agricultural operations and the Civil Air Patrol. On-site car rental, taxi services and free parking make onward travel to Jamestown and the wider region convenient.
