Jackson Municipal Airport is a publicly owned general aviation airport about 2 miles north of Jackson, Minnesota. Opened in November 1946, it serves the city of Jackson and the surrounding Jackson County area with facilities for private, business and agricultural aviation.
The airport has two runways: a paved runway 14/32 and a turf runway 04/22 that closes during the winter months. Services include 100LL and Jet-A fuel, aircraft maintenance through PS Aviation, tie-downs and hangar space. A small arrival/departure building provides a pilots' briefing room, conference room and restrooms.
Located near Interstate 90, the airport gives pilots convenient road access to Jackson and nearby communities such as Worthington, Fairmont, Spirit Lake and the Iowa Great Lakes region. Ground transportation options include a courtesy car and local road connections.
