Jack Brooks Regional Airport serves Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange and the surrounding Golden Triangle region of Southeast Texas. Originally established as Jefferson County Airport during the World War II era, the facility was renamed Jack Brooks Regional Airport in 1999. The airport is located near Nederland, Texas, roughly nine miles southeast of central Beaumont and close to Port Arthur. It provides scheduled regional air service through American Eagle, with daily flights connecting Southeast Texas to Dallas/Fort Worth. A single passenger terminal, renovated in 2009, handles check-in, security, arrivals and baggage claim in one compact building. Free parking is available directly outside the terminal, and Highway 69 provides a straightforward road connection to nearby communities. With two runways, a control tower and general aviation services alongside commercial flights, the airport supports business, leisure and private travel across the region. Its smaller size helps keep check-in and security efficient compared with larger hubs.
