Îles-de-la-Madeleine Airport is the main airport serving the Magdalen Islands archipelago in Quebec, Canada. Owned and operated by Transport Canada, it is designated as a remote airport under the National Airports Policy and provides a vital air link for the islands, where air travel is one of only two ways to reach the mainland alongside the ferry.
The airport is located in the Havre-aux-Maisons district and operates a single terminal building with two paved runways and a NAV CANADA flight service station. Air Canada provides seasonal service, while PASCAN Aviation and PAL Airlines connect the islands with mainland Quebec and other regional destinations.
Located about 11 km from Cap-aux-Meules, the main service centre of the archipelago, the airport is reached mainly by taxi or rental car. Car rental desks are available on site, and the terminal provides parking for travellers leaving vehicles during their stay.
