Húsavík Airport is a small domestic airport serving Húsavík, a fishing town on Iceland's north coast known as the country's whale-watching capital. Opened in 1957, the airport has long supported regional connections and access to North Iceland, with a newer terminal building opened in 1986.
Located about 10 km south of the town centre, the airport has a single runway and one compact passenger terminal. It has mainly handled scheduled domestic services and general aviation, linking Húsavík with other parts of Iceland rather than international destinations.
