Hunt Field Airport is a city-owned, public-use general aviation airport serving Lander and Fremont County in west-central Wyoming. Opened in November 1937, it supports private, business, charter and recreational flying rather than scheduled airline service.
Located about 2 km (1 mile) south of central Lander, the airport acts as a practical gateway to the Wind River Range, Sinks Canyon State Park and the outdoor recreation areas around the Popo Agie River valley.
