Hollis Clark Bay Seaplane Base is a state-owned, public-use seaplane base serving Hollis, a small community on the eastern side of Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska. It provides a water landing area in Clark Bay for floatplane and air taxi operations connecting the island with regional communities such as Ketchikan.
The facility lies about 1 nautical mile (2 km) northeast of the center of Hollis. Formerly known as Hollis Seaplane Base, it has been listed in FAA records since the early 1960s and uses a long east–west water lane in Clark Bay rather than a conventional runway and terminal building.
Because Hollis is the main ferry gateway for Prince of Wales Island, the seaplane base sits close to the Inter-Island Ferry Authority terminal, and roads link Hollis with Klawock and Craig. Travelers can combine seaplane, ferry, and road connections to move around the island and continue to Ketchikan.
