Holbrook Municipal Airport is a public-use general aviation airport serving Holbrook and northeastern Arizona's Navajo County. Opened in 1943, it has long supported private pilots, business aviation, and regional access to this historic Route 66 community.
The airport operates two runways: a 6,698-foot asphalt runway (3/21) and a 3,202-foot gravel-and-dirt runway (11/29). There is no control tower or scheduled commercial passenger service, and visiting pilots coordinate arrivals and departures on the common traffic advisory frequency.
Located about 3 miles northeast of downtown Holbrook near Interstate 40, the airport offers a short drive into the city centre by private car, taxi, rental car, or pre-arranged transfer. Its position makes it a convenient base for reaching Petrified Forest National Park and other destinations across Arizona's high desert.
